Employees at a New Jersey restaurant went through some intense emotional ups and downs after thinking they’d scored Saturday’s then-US$950-million jackpot, according to NBC New York.
Unfortunately they were reading the numbers from the draw the week before (where no winning tickets were sold).
Some people had already quit when they found out the error.
“For 20 minutes, it was real,” he said. “It’s a shame we didn’t win, but I wouldn’t trade that feeling for anything.”
