A new lawsuit has been filed against Dr. Phil for allegedly holding his employees against their will for a staff meeting.
According to TMZ, an ex-employee named Leah Rothman claims that she, along with 300 other staff members, were ordered to come to the office on a day off where the host’s security team locked them in.
The meeting was allegedly set so that they could figure out who had been leaking stories to the media and all employees were ordered to turn in their phone. Dr. Phil reportedly used profanities to find the culprit saying things like “If you f*** with me, I’ll f*** with you.” Leah says in her court documents that she started to feel emotional distress over the situation between the confined space and the verbal assault. She also claims that Phil already knew who was to blame but called the meeting to make a point to the other employees.
