Kelly Clarkson won’t be attending the Grammy awards this year. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Clarkson explained, “I was going to do the Grammys and ‘Idol,’ and then my doctor was kind of like, I just have such hard pregnancies, flying back and forth to L.A., like if they were closer together, I would’ve done both, but I had to kind of choose one.” She continued, “I obviously chose Idol because it’s ending and I was the original winner, so it’d kinda be weird if I wasn’t there. I’m unfortunately going to have to miss the Grammys.”
Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are thinking about expanding their family. The actress appears in the new issue of NET-A-PORTER.com’s The EDIT where she discusses having another child saying, “I became a mother very young — at 20 — so I feel like I’ve been a mother my whole life, but I love that. Now that I’m 43 and my son is 23, it’s funny to see some of my girlfriends raising young kids. In the US, women postpone motherhood, but in Latin America most of my friends have kids my son’s age.” Sofia adds, “I wouldn’t mind another child. My husband is younger than me and he wants kids so we’re trying to figure out what we’re going to do. The idea of doing it all again doesn’t scare me but, hey, it’s not like it’s going to happen naturally, is it?”
The romance rumors between Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are resurfacing after they attended a birthday party together on Wednesday. According to People, Orlando and Katy dined with a large group which included Jennifer Aniston andJ ason Bateman. The party was for producer Aleen Keshishian at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
Anne Hathaway has a posh new pad to enjoy the remainder of her pregnancy. Page Six is reporting that she and hubby Adam Shulman have purchased a new $2.55 million penthouse in New York City’s Upper West Side neighborhood. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home also has a wood-burning fireplace and a terrace. Anne also owns a home in L.A.
Matt LeBlanc has signed to co-host BBC’s Top Gear. He is the first non-British host in the show’s 39-year history. The formerFriends star said in a statement, “As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter. What a thrill!”
Sarah Michelle Gellar is totally supportive of ABC’s upcoming TV reboot of Cruel Intentions which will pick up 15 years after the movie left off. She told Us Weekly, “I think it’s awesome. I think there are so many great stories to tell.Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin did a great job with the Cruel Intentions musical — it was phenomenal. Roger Kumble — who wrote and directed the film — is at the helm, and anything Roger does is great. And they are great characters, so why shouldn’t their story be told?” When asked about reprising her role as Kathryn from 1999 film, Sarah said, “I don’t know. Never say never.”
