Some people LOVED the Super Bowl 50 Halftime show, and some people felt that it fell flat.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin wasted no time jumping into the band’s hits, including “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida” and “Paradise,” with the help of young musicians performing on a psychedelic stage. The band also performed “Adventure of a Lifetime” from their latest album, A Head Full of Dreams, which was interrupted by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, who took the stage to perform “Uptown Funk.” The most talked-about moment came when Beyonce stood mid-field amid a pyrotechnics display to sing her single, “Formation,” which was released over the weekend. She then joined Bruno and Chris on stage to dance it out a bit. The show ended with footage celebrating 50 years of Super Bowl entertainment, featuring Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, and more.
Did anyone notice how they left out a clip of the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake performance? Hmmmmm…..
