Amy Adams doesn’t want to be involved in conversations about the gender wage gap. You can see her in the new issue of British GQ where she admits that she knew going in that she was being paid less than her male co-stars in the movie American Hustle despite what Jennifer Lawrence has written about the situation. She told the magazine, “I didn’t speak about it before, and I’m probably not going to speak about it forever because I disagreed with…not Jennifer per se, but people who had opinions on how women should go about negotiating. The truth is we hire people to negotiate on our behalf, men and women…I knew I was being paid less, and I still agreed to do it because the option comes down to do it or don’t do it. So you just have to decide if it’s worth it for you. It doesn’t mean I liked it.”

It does not change the way that I look at love. I cannot wait to be in love again. I don’t feel like I am ready yet…which is so different for me. I dive into everything.”

It’s not anything new, like Chris Rock, I heard said, ‘Why this year?’ It’s always been racism. It’s kind of a reflection of what the country is.” Dustin added, “We change when the people that are oppressed force it to change.”
