MGM is working out a deal with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to produce a live-action movie based on the Where’s Waldo book series. The series has sold more than 55 million copies worldwide. It was created by Martin Handford and initially published in 1987.
Gary Busey and Cheryl Tiegs have signed on to appear in Syfy’s fourth installment of Sharknado. The duo joins returning cast members Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman. It will air in July.
Bradley Cooper’s plan to direct a remake of A Star Is Born has reportedly been dashed thanks to Beyoncé. According to Page Six, the project is on hold because the singer wanted too much money to sign on as the star. One source said, “Beyoncé wanted too much money, and Warner Bros. balked at her price. The production budget was also said to be an issue with the studio, so the project has fallen apart.” Another insider said, “Bradley has started reading scripts for his next acting project. But the Star Is Born project remains in development and Bradley is still involved.”
