Researchers in Finland have found the rate of people suffering ischemic strokes – a fancy term for the strokes caused by a blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain – increase by eight per cent after the clock change for Daylight Savings Time.
It’s serious – especially for older people or those with cancer.
But the rest of us, fear not!
You’re probably fine, and the risk only lasts for the first two days after the transition.
So if you make it to Tuesday, you’re probably in the clear.
