It seems that Mariah Carey has cleaned house and hired a new team. Mariah said in a statement to TMZ, “I dismissed a majority of my team because I discovered that they didn’t have my best interests at heart. My new team, including manager Stella Bulochnikov, are the top of the line in the entertainment business and more importantly in my life and I am now much more financially successful and more organized than in the past.”
Rihanna was honoured with the Rock Star Award at the taping for BET’s Black Girls Rock! at Newark’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center. According to E! Online, during her speech, the singer said, “Thank you so much for celebrating us in a world that doesn’t celebrate us enough. The minute you learn to love yourself, you will not want to be anybody else…Role model is not the title they like to give me…but I think I can inspire a lot of young women to be themselves and that is half the battle. Hopefully one day I’ll be raising my own little black girl who rocks.”
And Backstreet’s back….alright! Nick Carter has confirmed that he and his fellow Backstreet Boys have signed a deal for a Vegas residency. According to ET, Carter said that he and his bandmates are testing the waters with the residency, but “if it does really well, then I think that’ll open that door and then in future we’ll do it. So that’s definitely going to happen but we’re going to do a trial run first.”
JLo says Leonardo DiCaprio was a good sport when James Corden randomly texted him from her cell phone during a recent segment of “Carpool Karaoke.” After a taping of American Idol last week, J.Lo told reporters, “I did have to explain it to him. He was a great sport about it. I was like, ‘So hey, this is what had happened — I was with James Corden…’ He was totally like, ‘Do whatever you want, I don’t care…’ I don’t know if he’d say that today!”
Drew Barrymore’s marriage to Will Kopelman is coming to an end after three years together. They released a joint statement over the weekend which read, “Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
Nicholas Hoult is laughing off the rumors that he and Kristen Stewart got romantic while working on the upcoming movie Equals together. He told People magazine, “Of course there’s always going to be speculation. But there’s also like a whole business behind people kind of fueling those fires and creating speculation. There’s kind of a whole industry behind that at play that has nothing to do with the actual people.” Kristen is actually currently rumored to be dating French singer Soko.
Charlie Sheen continues to have trouble with the ladies in his life. TMZ is reporting that the former Anger Management star has been ordered to keep away from his ex-fiancée Brett Rossi.
Caitlyn Jenner will be appearing on the upcoming third season of Amazon’s Transparent. Details about her character are being kept under wraps but she begins filming this week.

The show also features SNL alum Dana Carvey searching the country for the best celebrity impersonators. Celebrity coaches also include Steve Carell, Jay Leno, Kevin Nealon, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tom Arnold, Jon Lovitz and Kate Flannery.
