Former WWE star Chyna did not take her own life. Law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ that there were no indications in her apartment that she was trying to commit suicide. It was also revealed that she had been deceased for at least a day before her body was discovered on Wednesday. Sunday was the last known day that she had been in contact with anyone.
Jodie Sweeting was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after injuring herself while rehearsing for Dancing With the Stars. According to E!, she hurt her ankle while working on her latest routine with Keo Motsepe. There is no word on whether she will have to sit out of the show next week.
Chris Pratt got drunk with Jennifer Lawrence to prepare for their sex scene together in the upcoming movie Passengers. He revealed to MTV, “Aside from doing a great job and telling a story, your primary goal is to make the other person comfortable. She wanted to have some wine and so we did. That was nice.” Chris added, “We became fast friends and we bonded over a mutual love for Dumb and Dumber. Just like jokes, and life, and all of it.”
Sofia Vergara is proud of what she has accomplished in raising her son Manolo. She reveals in the new issue of People, “Every time people compliment me about my son, Manolo, it is very rewarding. I was really young when I divorced his father, so I raised him trying to set the best example and give him the best that I could. When people compliment me on him, on how well mannered, how charming, funny and well-behaved he is, it makes all the sacrifices worthwhile.” Sofia and her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, married at 18 and then split up in 1993.
The cast and crew of Everybody Loves Raymond got together on Wednesday night to celebrate the life of Doris Roberts. Creator Phil Rosenthal shared a picture which included Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Monica Horan Rosenthal, Tucker Cawley, Aileen Cawley, Tom Caltabiano, Aaron Shure and Mike Royce. He wrote, “Last night some old friends got together to raise a glass, and a plate of pasta, to #DorisRoberts. Lots of love.” Doris died on Sunday (April 17th) at the age of 90.
Mike Myers received parenting advice from Adam Sandler back in 2011 when he first became a father. Myers told People, “When news of my wife Kelly being pregnant got out, I got a call from Adam Sandler, who lives in L.A. I live in New York, and you end up never seeing the people that you used to see all the time. He called me up and he said, ‘You’re going to love fatherhood.’ He said it’s like that first time you fall in love and you’re 12 years old — only every day. He said it’s like finding a room, like in a dream, in your house you never knew you had, and that’s going to be your heart. I had no idea how true that was going to be. You do kind of become a father to all the children.”
Anderson Cooper accidentally posted a nude photo on Twitter, but it wasn’t of himself. The upload was of a male nude painting which according to Gossip Cop was from the auction house Sotheby’s and was titled “19th Century European Art.” The picture was deleted instantly. Cooper tweeted about the photo, “That was weird… Got sent a bunch of images of artworks coming up at auction… Not sure how it got tweeted out.”
Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to appear as Tony Stark in the new Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming. It is unclear if he will appear in any sequels that may follow. Homecoming will open on July 7, 2017.
Disney’s live-action Jungle Book has become the highest-grossing Hollywood movie of all time in India. The movie surpassed Furious 7 and Jurassic World after only 12 days in theaters. It has also gross over $110 million in North America.
