The Kingston Frontenac Public Library has updated it’s code of conduct after several incidents, however the changes have some people concerned.
The board recently endorsed a new “code of conduct” that allows staff to ask people to leave who don’t pay attention to personal hygiene, those that are not dresses appropriately, or those that might have body odour. They say the update is necessary to address ongoing issues.
The Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s Chief Librarian says the organization has always had a code of conduct policy. After several incidents at it’s libraries the board feels the need to update the policy.
