Abbey D’Agostino of the United States and Nikki Hamblin of New Zealand were involved in a collision that ended any dreams of contending in Tuesday’s 5,000-meter qualifier.
Instead of acting frustrated or getting upset at one another, both women demonstrated the true spirit of the “Summer Games”.
