Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are busy working on the A Star Is Born set, and still finding time to bond away from all of the bright lights … in the veggie aisle. On Sunday, the Cooper rode shotgun as Lady Gaga drove him and two other friends to Vintage Grocers in Malibu for some afternoon grocery shopping. In July, Gaga replaced Beyonce in the remake of the 1954 Judy Garland classic. Cooper reportedly wanted Gaga for the role after Beyonce demanded too much money to play the role.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are apparently fighting over where to purchase a vacation home. Radaronline.com reports that Aniston wants to purchase a home in Mexico while Theroux just wants to keep his place in Hawaii. A source explained, “Jen isn’t a big fan of Hawaii, she only went there because Justin begged her . . . He still owns his place on Kauai’s north shore and feels like it’s paradise there, but she finds the place boring.”
Actor Rob Lowe has avoided being roasted for many years but he finally stepped up and Comedy Central’s Roast of Rob Lowe aired last night. Prior to the airing, Lowe explained that watching Justin Bieber get roasted last year really helped him to take the big step. He told E! Online, “They’ve asked me to do it a bunch and I’ve always said no . . . I was watching last year going, ‘You know what, dude? Man up. Really grow a pair.’ So I’m here to let it fly. I’m psyched!”
Earlier this year tension erupted behind the scenes of ABC’s Live With Kelly and Michael when Michael Strahan was given a fulltime gig on Good Morning America without Kelly Ripa getting a heads up. Ripa went on a short leave before returning and presenting a united front with Strahan prior to his departure. PageSix reports that part of the smoothing out process was that Ripa was named as an executive producer on the show alongside Michael Gelman.
Playboy model Dani Mathers made headlines in July when she Snapchatted an older woman changing in a gym locker room with the caption, “If I can’t unsee this, you can’t either.” The elderly woman has been located and she’s willing to press charges against Mathers. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s is deciding whether or not to pursue charges.
Chevy Chase has checked into rehab, a rep for the actor confirms to People. Chase checked himself in for an alcohol-related issue which his rep calls a “tune-up,” adding that the actor “wants to be the best that he can be.” He previously received addiction treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California in the ’80s, according to The New York Times.
