Last week Reese Webster got up for school and dressed in her school’s uniform T-shirt, booties and a button-up denim skirt. The skirt happened to be one that she already wore to school several times in the first few weeks of school.
Reese’s mom, Suzie received a phone call a few hours later. The principal’s office was asking her to bring her a pair of pants because her skirt was deemed “too short” for the classroom.
P.S Reese was called out in front of other students in the hallway, how embarrassing!
Let’s just say that mom was less than happy, see her Facebook post below.
Like getting the call wasn’t bad enough. Check this out, when Reese was in the office, school officials got out a measuring tape to measure if the skirt fell within the school’s rules of being no more than 5 inches above the knee, guess what!? The skirt was more than okay to wear. SO, the school backtracked and said Reese could continue wearing the skirt.
Suzie is fine with the school enforcing their policies, however she wasn’t very happy with the way they handled it. NO KIDDING!
