An eight-year-old boy saved up his pennies to buy himself a service dog.
About four years ago, Aiden Heath was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes, and he later learnt that there are dogs that monitor glucose.
So, he started saving his pennies at his mother’s suggestion, keeping them in a wagon. Aiden saved $6,000, and a GoFundMe page was set up to help Aiden get closer to his goal. Now, over $22,000 has been raised, by friends, strangers and beyond.
