Jeopardy host Alex Trebek shocked fans of the show with an unusually snide remark to a contestant. On Wednesday night, librarian Susan Cole described her favorite genre of music, Nerdcore: “[Nerdcore is] rapping about the things [nerds] love. Video games, science-fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners. It’s really catchy and fun.” Trebek responded, saying: “Losers, in other words.” Ouch! The temporarily flustered Cole emerged victorious though, walking away with $22,600.
Reese Witherspoon is expanding her brand! The actress has been moving aggressively into the high-brow lifestyle space with her brand and website Draper James – she even has an Instagram book club. The as-yet-untitled book “will celebrate the American South’s signature style, grace, and charm and illustrate how 21st century women can incorporate these elements into everyday life,” according to a release issued by the publisher Touchstone. It will drop in 2018 via Touchstone and Simon & Schuster U.K. and will include color photos and personal essays.
Corey Feldman dropped an American flag on the ground during his return to the Today Show stage yesterday, just weeks after his last bizarre appearance was attacked by critics. Performing his song “Take A Stand,” Feldman waived the flag before tossing it aside — sparking outrage among some fans who found the performance disrespectful.
Mad Men main man Jon Hamm opened up about his 30-day stint in rehab in February of 2015 for Mr. Porter’s The Journal. Hamm, entered rehab for alcohol treatment: “It has all these connotations, but it’s just an extended period of talking about yourself. People go for all sorts of reasons, not all of which are chemically related. But there’s something to be said for pulling yourself out of the grind for a period of time and concentrating on recalibrating the system. And it works. It’s great.” As far as what the future holds, he said: “Never say never.”
The NBC cop drama Shades of Blue, starring Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta, got a taste of real drama on Wednesday, when shots were fired near the film set in New York’s Bedford-Stuyvesant. No one on set was hurt and security personnel cleared the show for filming again.

A secret video recorded inside the Paris apartment where Kim Kardashian was robbed has sparked a police investigation. The video shows Kardashian at the scene where she had just been robbed at gunpoint of $5.6 million dollars in jewelry. She’s sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, and FaceTiming with someone. The footage led Kim’s legal team to work with French police to determine who recorded the unauthorized video.
