Cuba Gooding Jr. has filed for divorce from his wife Sara Kapfer, according to TMZ. The filing comes nearly three years after Kapfer filed for legal separation from Gooding Jr. in April 2014 citing irreconcilable differences. In the 2014 documents, Kapfer sought joint legal and physical custody of their two minor children (at the time) and also requested spousal support.
Black Eyed Peas member, Taboo, is using his new record to speak on his fight with cancer. According to People magazine, the rapper said, “‘The Fight’ was created during my darkest time in my personal fight against cancer. This video speaks to the isolation of that moment as well as the hope and promise of tomorrow that I found in my own young children. The talented kids featured in this video represent my continued commitment to movement, dance and a future without cancer.”
Celine Dion has announced that she is returning to Beauty and the Beast. The singer uploaded a picture of the film’s soundtrack artwork, along with a caption that said, “I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be performing an all-new original song, ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever,’ for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast. Being a part of the original film was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honored to be a part of this film again.”
Jennifer Lopez has confirmed that she and Drake are working on new music. She told Entertainment Tonight, “We did a song together. We’ll see if it’s on his next album, but he just asked me to do a song with him and that’s what we were doing.” In another interview with Extra, she said that although they completed one song, she doesn’t know if they will work on more.
Gavin Polone, the producer of the upcoming A Dog’s Purpose, was horrified by a video from the film’s set showing a German Shepherd being forced to film a water scene. “I’m horrified by this..It was someone’s job to watch out for this kind of thing. Why didn’t they?” he said yesterday.

The trailer for the Power Rangers reboot, set to the Kanye West song “Power” has dropped. The clip features Bryan Cranston (who plays the Ranger mentor Zordon) telling the Rangers: “Power Rangers were a legion of warriors. You must become those warriors. You were born for this. This is your destiny. This is your time.” The franchise update is directed by Dean Israelite and stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G and Ludi Lin as the central five Rangers, plus Bill Hader, Cranston and Elizabeth Banks. The movie hits theaters March 24th.
Malia Obama has landed an internship with Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, the New York Post’s Page Six reported on Thursday, January 19. The 18-year-old is set to start work in the New York office of The Weinstein Co. next month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. THR reports that it’s not clear which department Malia will work in, but it may in marketing or development.
