Marchers surprised a Seattle food bank that had helped them out as they passed by on Saturday during The Women’s March
The food bank at St. Mary’s serves around 500 people on a typical Saturday, but they had to close early due to the large crowds of The Woman’s march. Many of their clients could not reach the food bank, and they were only able to hand out goods to about 250 people.
The food bank team turned to helping the marchers, handing out bottled water and let them use their washroom. Marchers pulled out their wallets and returned the favor donating nearly $10,000 in cash to the Food Bank.
Today the people in Seattle’s Woman’s March that donated to the food bank get Ryan’s High Five of the Day!
