The Canadian Mental Health Association in Kingston has some amazing events going on to help give men the tools to cope with depression and anxiety
Last night I was fortunate enough to be able to check out one of the events
It was a cool, fun night at the Kingston Athletic Therapy Centre who hosted the very first DAAMIT session.
Carla and Kristin did an amazing job of working us through the great work they do at KATC with professional athletes (RUGBY CANADA) and regular Joes like us, linking in mental health to injuries and sports. They even did a mobility demo and had people rocking the foam rollers and doing cool stretches.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without the creator of the program and that is Peter Young and group Facilitator Justin Price
Today’s high five goes to both of them for the great work they have done to help people cope with Metal Health and for showing the tools on how to live an amazing life
