I am sure we have all been guilty of being rude to a Barista because of our own thing going on in our life… but have you ever returned to say sorry?
A Starbucks barista was surprised when a customer returned to apologize for her behavior the day before.
Andrew Richardson, a barista in California received a handwritten card and $50 bill from a customer named Debbie, who he didn’t even think was that rude. The pair were having a pleasant conversation when he realized they were all of out of drink carriers. According to Richardson, Debbie became playfully “sassy” or at worst mildly frustrated. The next day Debbie came in and gave him a heartfelt apology along with the card.
Now maybe the $50 is a bit over excessive, or maybe she forgot to pay for her drink, they can get expensive. But I suggest you do this the next time you are frustrated because the return on the positivity is amazing so High Five to Debbie
