Ed Sheeran is one of my favourite musicians for a few reasons. First off, he is talented and we all know that. Second, he has the biggest heart!
One of Ed Sheeran’s biggest littlest fans had the opportunity to meet him backstage at a concert in Manchester, UK. Six-year-old Ollie Carroll suffers from Batten disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes progressive neurological problems.
Ollie can longer speak, see, or walk, however he loves listening to Ed’s music. Ed’s music has gotten him through tough times at the hospital, and he lights up whenever his parents play it for him.
His family started a social media campaign in hopes that Ollie could meet Ed.
Unfortunately, there is no cure for the disease. And Ollie’s younger sister has been diagnosed with the disease.
