It’s official, Justin Bieber has beat The Beatles! Bieber seems to set some new chart record every other week, who would have thought!?
His latest one puts him past none other than The Beatles. According to Billboard, Justin has had two songs in the top three of the Hot 100 for the past five weeks: “Despacito,” his collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, and “I’m the One,” his all-star collaboration with DJ Khaled and a number of top rappers.
Last year, Justin had two songs in the top three at the same time for eight weeks – “Sorry” and “Love Yourself.” That makes a total of 13 weeks that Justin’s had two songs in the top three, and that’s where Bieber beats the Beatles.
The Beatles only had 12 such weeks in their career: in 1964, and again in 1969. AND he might score yet another hit on next week’s Hot 100, as his new collaboration with David Guetta, “2U,” is expected to debut in the chart’s upper reaches.
Way to go Justin!
